I had the utmost pleasure of working with a friend of mine who happens to be a model. Kindra is one of the kindest, deepest soul's I've met, and when I asked if she would be interested in modeling for a deep, dark forest project, she jumped at the opportunity.
We headed off into the mountains of Santa Cruz, California, and trekked into one of my favorite forests in the region: Henry Cowell Redwood State Park. This forest has always held such wonder for me, and is a place to escape when life is beating down my door.
Invoking emotion in every capture, this wonderful and talented lady really helped bring this project to life. I hope everyone enjoys this set of images, and that they bubble to the surface some emotion that might have been held below the surface for some time.
My deepest thanks to Kindra, and I can't wait until we make art again.
